It seemed so super long ago, and our blog links are like the 2nd batch of links on that page, mannnn has it been that long ago? And there's like ugly deon photos all over, some things just never change. And I realised how much weight Andre lost. Marcus is still the same please. We kinda gave up on that blog after a while isn't it? The only proper coverage was like Open House. HAHA.

Hey guys,

Shaun and I were chatting on MSN. Long story cause I never knew that guys chatted on MSN. I mean not to be sexist or anything, but like, usually MSN is a vehicle for boys and girls to flirt yada. But I didn't know when it started, I started chatting with guys on MSN, before that it was only like girlfriend and maybe once in a while some other friend. Anyhow, we do chat, me, yaofeng, bloke_87 etc.

Shaun and I were chatting and we decided to book a chalet for the bandies. This event shall be called the "Gillman Chalet". No, just kidding. Anyway it will be on the first week of March, we will have a big birthday cake for all the babies birthdays that we missed so do leave that week free. Fishing and Mahjong will hopefully occur also.

I seriously suggest people stay over, cause its next to the jetty and hopefully we can experience a great sunrise.

Meanwhile, who is going with me to send Liang off? Make sure you wear fancy TEE shirts and drink lots of LIANG teh and visit the bathroom often to SHIt.

It's Not About the Coffee. This is a new book I picked up at Trident Booksellers along Newbury Street. At first it was something that would just utilize my store credits. Then it became a rather interesting read, and after a few dozen pages it struck me hard. This isn't just some self help book with a catch design on its paperback, its content is so aligned to what I believe in. About leadership and connections and people. And what was really important to me. Call it coincidence, but I really found this book actually resonating through my brain. It made me a lot more confident about myself and decisions that I make and it was really emotionally soothing. I love this book. Maybe you should read it too.

All you lucky people in Singapore would've finished your finals by now but i still have to sit for mine! supposed to have 3 tmr and 2 on fri but i decided not to go for my 8am paper tmr morning cos i alr got a B+ for it so yay can sleep in!

by the way, a military jet malfunctioned and crashed on 2 houses in the neighbourhood really near mine. like, it was just across the road. scary right? plus our area has like 3 petrol stations so imagine if it landed on one of them. anyway, there were 4 people in the house, a grandma, a mum and 2 kids and all 4 died, leaving the husband cos he was prob at work or something. so sad right? he gave a press conference today and said that he doesn't blame the pilot and hoped he was fine. apparently the pilot parachuted from the jet before it crashed and landed in a tree in the nearby highschool. so sad, so sad.

going to watch my roommates Adan and Ken run in their underwears later! it's an annual event called the Undie Run. Adan reserved his Batman boxers especially for this event. haha it'll be so funny to watch them freeze their asses off!!!

Hello everybody! We went to check about our proposed trip in may after exams already!

there's a 3D2N cruise to nowhere on star aquarius on 9, 10, 11th. if we get the cheapest room for 4 pple, it's 300+ per person i think.

we can also go to tioman (m'sia), either by ferry then bus or plane. if we go by ferry then bus, it's gonna cost 100+ per person but it excludes accomodation. and the bus ride is 6 hrs long. if we travel by plane, it's gonna cost 200+ excluding taxes and stuff, i think.

if we go pattaya, we have to take a plane to bangkok and transfer to another internal flight or take a cab. the air ticket costs 100+ excluding taxes.

so what do you say? please please say something about it cos we have to confirm and book soon or else it's going to get more and more expensive.

hello! it's me again. to people like stuart and dina who wants to read more about the brain damage patient i talked about yesterday, here's the link. i hope it works. anyway, his name is clive wearing and lost almost all his memory about his past. and he also can't form new memories. so he's literally "living in the moment" i guess, and he's constantly disoriented cos he can't recall anything that occured just an instant before. i think it's really very sad although sometimes i wish i have amnesia so i can forget about things i'd rather not remember.

amy and i didn't know that guys make a face when they steam until sala kindly informed us and showed us the expression. that was both fascinating and gross la. haha!

oh by the way, cos of the free free flow of pizza and drink at timbre, amy and i only spent money on 2 drinks: 1 at zouk and 1 at timbre. yesterday was ladies night at zouk! so i spent a grand total of $20 on dinner AND clubbing. the joy of that! haha

and we still stay strong.

1) NTU band is having a Welcome Tea on the 3oth of June and i cannot not attend. i've been told this quite long ago and i clean forgot about it whilst planning for the kayak event. my bad.

2) Alumni practice resumes on the 30th at 6pm.

which means you guys can either go ahead without me on the big 30thJune plan and miss first prac.

or we could all attend alumni prac on the 30th and head over to Shaun's right after that for a stayover. then kayak the next day on Sunday 1st of July, followed by combing Clarke Quay.

Saints Hallelujah VII is officially over... Felt that it was not bad despite the glitches here-and-there. Hehe... anyway, thanks everyone who have supported!! =) and hope that u all enjoyed it. Well, I've really enjoyed it. It feels great to perform alongside with u guys again. And I seriously wonder when will be the next time... Okie guys..(and girls if you wanna come too, NO PROB!). Soccer court is booked from 11am - 1 pm (which i tink is extendable as nobody has booked the slot after us). We will be playing at the court at Home Team NS (Police version of SAFRA)

So meet at 1030 at toa payoh entertainment center (its opposite the swimming pool) and we will make our way there. And. yes.money is needed to book the court. Its 9 per hour (which i think is pretty decent) so yea we have to share cost.so all just bring bout one plus dollars and that will do.

And pls do not be late as the court is BOOKED and money is wasted (yes yes, I myself will NOT be late).

As some of you may know, and some may not, Our dearest teacher in charge Mr Peh Bock Kiat is leaving Sajc. He will be going to HQ from Jan'07 for 2 years. He says its time for a change of environment.

We are planning for a day of games at his place soon... after all the exams.... He says " K, can we hv a games day at my plc? Mahjong, bridge, chua dai dee, etc, etc."

So yes, tentative dates are 16th and 17th dec. Choose one. Its a weekend to accomodate the guys. That's when I believe all the gals are done with the exams. So yes!

actually, i agree with huishan. i've been feeling like this for quite some time now. it feels really bad when you organize something and in the end it has to be cancelled due to poor/zero participation. i'm seriously very sick of organizing stuff for us because they get cancelled most of the time. but if i don't organize something, nobody else other than huishan or sala will and we'll just drift further and further apart and i can't bear to let all of you go. do you know how disappointed i was that the trip got cancelled? i actually cried when i read aloo's msg telling me that she can't make it cos i knew then that the trip will be cancelled. over-reacting, i know, but most of you will never know how it feels to have things that you organize get cancelled so many times. the real reason why i was genuinely surprised during my birthday was because i actually expected only a handful of ppl to show up.

sometimes i feel as if everyone of you have moved on in your lives and i'm the only one stuck in a time warp, still hanging on to the memories we had in sajc band. but i didn't dare to say anything because i know everyone is busy, the guys with army and the girls in uni. but really, we don't have activities THAT often. is it really so difficult for you all to fit the gatherings into your schedules? i remember us saying that this batch of j2s are not as spontaneous or enthu as us, but now i feel like we're not that different from them. look at our batch blog. who are the ones who usually update it? it's always the same few ppl. me, deon, kok, huishan. do you ppl even read our posts? do you even mean it when you say you miss sajc band?

i wanted to blog a long post to tell you how disappointed i am with everyone. but i guess its just fate that i lost the post. besides i feel much better after blogging it out though it'd never appear again.

btw the feeling of being cheated is still there. basically the post is just abt how everyone doesn't bother abt this batch anymore and ultimately we were never that good friends to begin with. nobody bothers to organize anything and its the same few people who do and same few pple who always get disappointed cux the rest dont fucking bother.

of cux one valid point was that the only other time everybody is happening and enthu is if it was a soccer match being organized. and one other quote i vaguely remember from my upsetting post would go....
"take away glosz take away malan road take away our instruments. take away the band table and we can go fuck ourselves."

quite tired of people not bothering to bother.

Hey people
I had the most wonderful weekend.

Firstly I passed my driving. (Yay!!!)
Then next my band FLYBAR won World Battle of the Bands Singapore and are now going to Hong Kong to take part in the World Finals! Thanks so much all the bandies that came down to support, Dearie of course, Marcus, Stu, Yf, Amy, Enru, Liang, Mel, Jason, Tau [I hope I didnt forget anyone] Thanks so so much guys for your support!
Then I had a very very exciting, fun, surprising, special and tiring birthday games day with Enru organised by Huishan and Liang, and alot of bandies. Thanks all so so much for everything! Thnk you, and it was all so nice to see everyone once again. So many people turned up leh. Bet enru enjoyed herself. Thanks dearie thank you so much.

Ok people next sat 21st of Oct its the World Battle of the Bands Finals Singapore. Its at Timbre which is opposite SMU, 6 bands are playing with 3 pieces each and Flybar will be playing. So do make your way down to support me ya k sure thanks. Starts at 9pm, entrance shld be free but i think you have to buy drinks, its open space with chilled out settings, great place to be and 6 really good bands are playing no shitting, its the finals. Be there early to get seats I guess. Yeah do come support.
